Carnations get a lot of bad rap from a lot of people – too often they’re sadly disregarded as a “cheap” flower and are tossed aside as an option. Which is a shame because they come in some gorgeous colors.
But we’re thinking this might just change their mind. 😉
This particular shade is of the “moon series” carnations – lavenders, medium purples and then this deep dark rich purple. I can’t resist carnations all balled up like this – they give off the impression of one gigantic flower rather than several small ones. Beautiful.
